The Space Our guesthouse is a single-room home in my backyard paradise. It comes with its own entrance and a private bathroom just for you. Step outside, and you’ll find yourself in the backyard with places to eat, a vegetable garden, a small house for hanging out, a massage chair, a jacuzzi, and a pool all ready for you to enjoy! Smoking is okay but only outside. And yes, we’re 420 friendly.
Inside the studio, there’s a comfy queen-sized bed, a complete bathroom, a small kitchen area, plenty of closet space, a flat-screen TV with Netflix, and free wi-fi. It’s equipped with air conditioning, heating, and a ceiling fan to keep you comfortable no matter the weather.
Parking is easy and safe. We’re close to a bus station, a grocery store, and Balboa Lake park, all within 1 mile. Our neighborhood is quiet and friendly. We’re just a few miles from Ventura Blvd, which has lots of restaurants, bars, and shops. A 10-minute drive takes you to hiking in the beautiful Topanga Canyon.
You’ll have easy access to major highways—the 405 and the 101. We’re not far from Magic Mountain, The Getty Museum, Universal Studios, and Van Nuys Airport.
We’re 3.5 miles from Cal State Northridge and 3.6 miles from Pierce College. Hollywood is 16 miles away, Downtown LA is 20 miles, Malibu Beach is 30 miles, Warner Brothers/Universal Studios is 10 miles, and LAX Airport is 20 miles away.
Sorry, but we can’t allow pets. No parties either. We only have room for 2 guests, and no extra visitors. No filming or photo shoots are allowed. Please be aware there’s a security camera at the gate where you come in. It’s there for safety and only watches the entrance. There are no cameras in the backyard or studio.
Guest Access Besides the studio, you can use the whole backyard, including the pool (which isn’t heated), the cabana, hot tub, outdoor dining area, and the vegetable gardens.
The backyard is a place everyone can share, but don’t worry, we don’t use the pool or hot tub. It’s all yours to enjoy privately. My partner and I live in the main house at the front and might pop into the vegetable garden now and then. We try our best to give you your privacy while you’re here.
Other Things to Note Remember, the backyard is a space we all share. Also, while we make sure your studio is always spotless and up to the highest cleanliness standards, the backyard might be affected by the weather. I do my best to keep the pool and hot tub clean with weekly maintenance, but sometimes leaves or other natural debris can get in. Thanks for understanding.
